Citroën has released prices and specifications for the new 100% electric ë-C4. It starts at £29,180 (after Plug-in Car Grant has been applied), while the most expensive model tops out at £31,330.
That's above the £26,845 starting price of the best-selling Nissan Leaf, although the French car does have a larger battery and more range. The first customer deliveries start in early 2021.
The ë-C4 is available in three trim levels: ‘Sense Plus’, ‘Shine’ and ‘Shine Plus’. All feature a 50kWh battery with an official range of 217 miles on a charge. An 80% rapid charge takes 30 minutes on a 100 kW charger. A wallbox-fed home charge to 100% takes seven hours and 30 minutes.
