Citroën has slashed the price of the ë-SpaceTourer by a massive £14,000, making the electric version cheaper than the diesel.
The introduction of a new 'Business Edition' trim level means ë-SpaceTourer dips below the new £35,000 pricing threshold and can grab the Government's £2,500 Plug-In Car Grant.
Including PICG, the price for the ë-SpaceTourer starts at £31,995 for the 'Business Edition', versus £48,615 for the outgoing 'Business' trim level. That’s cheaper than the equivalent diesel.
The new ë-SpaceTourer 'Business Edition' is capable of seating up to nine passengers, with three rows of three seats. It is equipped with air conditioning, cruise control, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a 7-inch touchscreen.
The better-equipped Flair model also has a price cut, coming in £1,670 cheaper than the less-well equipped Feel version it replaces. The ë-SpaceTourer is powered by a 50kWh battery, connected to a 134bhp electric motor giving a range of up to 143 miles on a single charge.
