Judges described how the Electrifying.com’s website “stole the show” with its well pitched offering giving praise to its blend of reviews, advice and video.

Ginny Buckley, Electrifying.com’s founder and editor in chief, praised her team and said that the award was a reminder of the job that needs to be done to help give consumers the confidence to make the switch to an electric car.

Buckley said: “To be named EV publication of the year is a testament to the brilliant team of journalists and videographers working on our brand, many of whom have been involved since Electrifying.com was an idea in the back of my notebook. At a time when long established publishers are closing their doors, this award shows that we've been able to create something relevant that crucially supports car buyers in making the switch to an EV. We can’t underestimate how key education is as we move towards the ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars in 2035.”
