Tesla is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the first Supercharger stations in Europe with a day of free charging for all EV owners. On August 29th, from 8am to 11pm, all charging will be free.
The initiative is part of Tesla’s Electric Summer celebrations. On August 29th 2013, the first six stations opened in Norway. Now the network spans 36 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa with well over a thousand sites and 13,000 individual Superchargers.
Electric Summer celebrations started in July and ramped in August with Drive-In Cinema events organised in a few European cities.
