GWM has slashed the price of its ORA 03 and added a new range-topping GT variant.
The all-electric GWM ORA 03 range now starts with a new PURE model, which costs £24,995 - £6,000 less than the previous entry level car. As before, It is powered by a 48 kWh battery with a range of 192 miles.
The PURE features a 10.25-inch multimedia infotainment screen, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, as well as satellite navigation, wireless phone charging and a 360-degree camera system.
Next in the revised line-up is the PRO, priced from £28,995. This vehicle benefits from the larger 63 kWh battery, increasing the driving range to 261 miles. In addition to the PURE variant, the PRO version benefits from leatherette seating which is heated for front occupants, Auto Parking Assist, Auto Reversing and front parking sensors.
The new GT trim tops the range at £32,995 – just £1,000 more than the previous list price of the cheapest model - and is finished with unique exterior and interior GT styling elements. These include 18-inch GT Diamond Turned alloy wheels, red brake callipers, wheel arch extensions, front bumper garnish and front and rear bumper styling.
A rear roof-mounted spoiler is also fitted with the GT emblem. The interior has sporty red seat belts, GT embossed insignia in the front headrests, numerous red styling elements and ventilated and massaging front seats.
The GT also has a Panoramic Sunroof, Launch Control and a heat pump, for improved battery management.
Despite the sporty looks, the GT does not have any extra performance compared to the standard PRO, with 169bhp.
The new versions will go on sale for pre-orders from January 21, with the first customer handovers expected in March.
