Honda has revealed its second all-electric car, and it’s a very different machine to the styish but flawed e city car.
The bizarrely-named e:Ny1 is 4,390mm long, making it a competitor to cars like the big selling Kia Niro EV, Hyundai Kona and Vauxhall Mokka-e.
The all-new bodywork features white ‘H’ badges on the nose, wheel centre caps and steering wheel which will be used on all future Honda electric models.
Under the body is a 68.8kWh battery giving 256-miles of official WLTP range That is almost double that of Honda’s e. Honda also doesn’t quote the charging figures, but says the e:NY1 can get from 10-80% in 45 minutes on a public charger. Which, given the size of the battery, would mean between 80-90kW DC.
