ID.Buzz camper appears at last

Ever since the ID.Buzz was first shown as a concept car, VW van fans have dreamed of a camper version. It has now become a reality, thanks to a company called TC Conversions. 

The converted camper can either be based on the van or passenger versions of the ID.Buzz and will sleep up to four people. 

Features include a ‘pop top’ elevating roof to allow occupants to stand up fully inside the Buzz. It also incorporates solar panels which keep the leisure battery topped up. 

The kitchenette has a sink, induction cooker and fridge. Both versions of the Buzz have a claimed 208 mile range from the standard 77kWh battery. 

Prices start at £79,000 for the van-based Pro, rising to £91,000 for the Life model.
