Kia has revealed more details and new pictures of the Kia EV9, its seven-seat electric flagship SUV which will arrive in the UK later this year.
The ‘GT-Line’ model, seen in these pictures for the first time, will feature a number of design tweaks when compared to the EV9 Baseline model previously shown. The front and rear bumpers, wheels, and roof rack have all changed with a more distinctive black colour palette.
New data shows the EV9 has a targeted range of 336 miles from a 99.8kWh battery. The ultra-fast 800-volt charging capability enables the EV9 pack to be replenished with sufficient charge to power the vehicle for about 150 miles in around 15 minutes.
It also introduces the controversial Kia Connect Store, which will make customers purchase features and services via subscription, including performance upgrades. These will then be downloadable Over the Air.
With an overall length of 5,010 mm, 1,980mm wide and 1,755mm tall, making it taller in every direction than a Sorento.
A 76.1kWh battery is offered exclusively with the Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) Standard model, while a 99.8-kWh battery is fitted in both the Long Range and All Wheel Drive variants.
