How many companies are building electric cars in China? Any guesses? Well, that’s one of the things that the Electrifying team has been discussing in the latest video, in which Ginny, Nicola and Batch tackle the subject of cars from companies you’ve never heard of. 

And what’s even more surprising, is that some of those companies are actually huge corporations that dwarf the European manufacturers that we all know. Take BYD, for instance. It feels like a brand new start-up in the UK, but at the end of last year it sold more electric cars than Tesla, globally. They don’t all come from China, either. There’s always Fisker, Lucid and Rivian to consider, as well as the mass of Chinese makers like GWM Ora, Zeekr and Nio.
