Vauxhall has teamed up with charging specialist JOLT to offer free charging for its electric and plug-in hybrid customers across North West London.

Between 3rd February and 2nd March 2025, Vauxhall EV and plug-in hybrid drivers can access free public charging at JOLT’s 25kW DC units via the JOLT app1. A supporting Vauxhall ad campaign will run across all JOLT locations, promoting the free charging offer and marking the arrival of the new Grandland Electric. As part of the collaboration, select JOLT chargers will feature full Vauxhall-branded livery.

To take advantage of the offer, Vauxhall drivers simply need to download the JOLT app and register their vehicle. Once verified, free charging will be applied for use during the promotional period.

JOLT already provides 7kWh of free daily charging to all users, equating to around 30 miles of range, with additional charging available at 35p per kWh. Since launching in October 2023, the company has delivered over 6.3 million miles of clean energy to UK EV drivers. The brand aims to expand EV adoption by making charging more accessible and cost-effective, particularly for those without home charging. Its charging units integrate digital advertising screens, allowing revenue from ads to fund free charging and further network expansion.

Vauxhall’s partnership with JOLT aligns with its Electric Streets of Britain initiative, which aims to improve on-street charging infrastructure. Since its launch in 2023, the initiative has collected over 15,000 registrations across 11,500 streets from drivers seeking local on-street charging solutions. Motorists can still register their interest at www.electricstreets.co.uk.
