Volkswagen has (sort of) revealed its new coupe-like version of the ID.4 electric SUV.
The new ID.5 is set to make its debut at the Munich Motor Show on the 7th of September but to pique our interest, the company has revealed shots of the car in some funky camouflage.
The new model also wears the name GTX which is VW’s new performance branding for electric cars, taking over from the famous GTI badge.
The funky camo paint job won't be an option, sadly Like the recently-announced ID.4 GTX, the ID.5 has an electric motor at both the front and rear to give four-wheel drive.
A 77kWh battery gives a claimed range of 308 milesThe ID.5 GTX arrives at dealers next year, and is expected to be slightly more expensive than the larger SUV ID.4 version, for reasons only car company marketing people understand.
