Honda has revealed its second all-electric car for Europe – called the e:Ny1, and it is due to go on sale in 2023.
Shown here in pictures taken from a presentation, the car resembles the current HR-V, but it's slightly longer and lower and is actually based on a new architecture which allows it to use an all-electric powertrain.
There is no official word on the technical details, but a very similar model, called the Honda e:NP1, is just about to go on sale in China. That car uses 53.6 kWh or 68.8kWh battery packs with 261 or 311 miles of range. That would make the larger-batteried model comfortably beat rivals such and the Hyundai Kona and new Kia Niro EV.
