Another Chinese electric car brand is set to hit the UK within weeks, launching a new sub £30,000 all-electric SUV.
The Seres 3 will arrive into UK showrooms this spring, with a starting price of £29,995.
The entry-level Active model has 18” anthracite-finish alloy wheels, LED lights, keyless start, reversing camera, and a 10.25” touchscreen display. The top-level Spirit, priced at £31,995, adds a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging and heated front seats.
Powered by a 54kWh lithium-ion battery, the Seres 3 has a combined range of 205 miles (WLTP) and is capable of recharging in 30 minutes (20% to 80%). The 120kW electric motor propels the Seres 3 to 62mph from standstill in under 9 seconds.
The car’s obvious rival – the MG ZS EV – starts at £30,495 with a 51kWh battery and 198 mile range.
Seres UK importer, IA Electric Vehicles, plans to roll out a dealer network over the next year.
