Polestar is part of the large Chinese car firm Geeley and is a sub-brand of Volvo. It currently has a two-car range consisting of the super-exclusive Polestar 1 plug-in hybrid coupe and the Polestar 2 hatchback, but more models will be appearing over the next five years. You can only buy Polestars online, although the brand does have ‘Polestar Spaces’ in shopping centres in London and Manchester where customers can view the car and organise a test drive. The Polestar 2 is one of our favourite premium electric cars, it rivals the Tesla Model 3, features an interior made from vegan-friendly materials and is the first car in the world to use Google for its infotainment system.
