EV Power is the ultra-rapid charging network from MFG, or Motor Fuel Group, which operates fuel filling stations across the country. Its hubs are built on the same sites as existing fuel forecourts, offering between four and eight ultra-rapid chargers per site. These are 150kW or 350kW units, capable of the fastest charging times around.

All MFG points can be accessed by using a contactless credit or debit card, or linked Apple Pay or Android Pay account. There is also an EV Power app, which can be used to both find charge points, and start or stop a charging session.

All charge points are high power, ultra-rapid units, with EV Power charging a fixed energy price no matter the charger power. There are no connection fees, and no option of a subscription - just turn up and charge, as you would have done at an MFG site in a petrol or diesel model.

MFG has invested an initial £400+ million in the network, installing more than 3,000 ultra-rapid points at over 500 sites across the UK. The network has grown quickly, thanks largely to having sites established in already convenient places for drivers - petrol stations. As such, it’s quickly become a reputable and well used network for regular EV public charging users.
