Is the DS 3 a hybrid?
There are three different engine choices for the DS 3 – petrol, diesel and pure electric. There’s no hybrid option.
Is the DS 3 E-Tense a 4x4?
No, it is front-wheel-drive only.
Is the DS 3 E-Tense a Citroen?
It is made by the same company, yes. But it is now a different brand which has gone upmarket.
Are there other electric DS models?
Not yet, but there are PHEV versions of the bigger DS 4, DS 7 and DS 9.
How long does it take to charge a DS 3 E-Tense?
At home using a wallbox the E-Tense will fully charge in around seven hours. It can also use the new 11kW chargers if you are lucky enough to have one. To rapid DC charge, the DS uses a CCS type plug and can accepts a 100kw input and can go from 20 to 80% in 30 minutes.
