Peugeot has facelifted the e-2008 giving it a sharper new look and more efficient powertrain which increases the range from 214 to 252 miles.
The new e-2008 features an updated design to reflect the style of the bigger 508, an enhanced i-Cockpit dashboard, and a new more powerful motor.
The front of the new 2008 adopts the latest ‘light signature’ first seen on the new 508 and 508 SW, which is characterised by three vertical light 'claws' integrated into the gloss black inserts on the bumper.
At the rear, tail lamps have also been redesigned. The LED rear lights are made up of three superimposed horizontal double slats, while the reversing lights and indicators are also LEDs.

The colour of the display, the order and the layout of the information can be adjusted to suit the driver’s preferences.All new 2008 models also now come with a 10-inch central touchscreen as standard.
A larger 54kWh battery – as seen in the Jeep Avenger – also features, along with the Jeep’s electric motor, which produces a maximum power of 154bhp – an increase of 18%. The range also increases to 252 miles (WLTP), up from 214 miles.
Top GT versions get a digital display Two types of onboard chargers are available on the new e-2008: as standard, a single-phase 7.4kW charger and, as an option, a three-phase 11kW charger. The new e-2008 can be recharged from 0-80% in 30 minutes from a 100kW rapid charger, or 7 hours 30 minutes from a 7.4kW charger.
No prices have been announced, but they are no expected to rise significantly from the existing model’s £35,900 starting price.
